INVEST in Renfrewshire - Adult Employability Services

The Invest in Renfrewshire Employability Services is a Voluntary Programme aimed at improving YOUR Chances of Employment. Delivered by TLP on behalf of Renfrewshire Council through INVEST in Renfrewshire, we can help you find the right job today or give you the skills and experience to get it tomorrow.

We’ll give you a Personal Advisor, who will:

• Match you up to vacancies

• Help you with CVs, applications and interviews

• Find you training, work experience and volunteering opportunities

• Provide sector-specific training and support with IT

• Continue to help you once you are in work 

If you are 30+, living in Renfrewshire, unemployed or working under 16 hours per week, not on the Work Programme and need help to get the job you WANT, then this is the Programme for you.

 

INVEST in Renfrewshire - Employer & Vacancy Management Service 

The Invest in Renfrewshire Employer & Vacancy Management Service provides a FREE recruitment service tailored to YOUR needs as an employer.

We will:

• Advertise your vacancy, internally through our Renfrewshire partners and also externally through Universal Job match, if required

• Gather, assess and sift all CVs received, providing you only with those applicants who meet your requirements: saving you valuable time and money!

• Help arrange interviews and assist with all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure you find the RIGHT candidate

• Direct you to possible wage subsidies through our links with Invest in Renfrewshire

If you are a Renfrewshire employer, we WANT to help you. This service is delivered by TLP on behalf of Renfrewshire Council as part of INVEST in Renfrewshire.

 

Airport Recruitment Centre (ARC)

Working in conjunction with staff from Jobcentre Plus, the Airport Recruitment Centre supports companies in and around Glasgow Airport with a bespoke recruitment service to help them fill their vacancies quickly and effectively. Part-funded by Renfrewshire Council through the European Social Fund, services include helping to promote vacancies, writing job adverts, job descriptions and person specifications, following up on references, assisting with arranging interviews and managing the early stages of the job start process.

As well as helping employers, the service helps to make these vacancies more accessible to unemployed residents from the Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire areas.
