The Lennox Partnership have this year delivered a range of STRIVE workshops, on behalf of Ingeus, to help support their Work Programme customers into employment . To date delivery has taken place at their sites in Dundee , Glasgow, Falkirk and Hamilton .
Using a simulated work environment, the workshops focus on:
Developing soft skills and appropriate workplace behaviours and attitudes
Providing core employability skills and tools to be able to compete favourable in the current labour market
Activities are conducted through individual and team-based assignments, in-class exercises and group work. Participants on the workshops will increase their confidence and self-esteem as well as their motivation. No other service delivered in Scotland tackles these areas in the direct manner of STRIVE.
The workshops have been a great success, making a real impact on the lives of the people who participated . In Dundee all 10 STRIVE participants secured employment , a testament to the unique delivery model STRIVE offers
