Biography: Blyth Deans joined the organisation in February 1990, having previously worked in the Private Sector. Initially recruited as the Training Employment Grant Scheme (TEGS) manager, then moving on to Director of Enterprise Development, before being appointed as Chief Executive in 2003. The role includes reporting to the non executive Board of Directors, who provide strategic guidance to the organisation and ensuring the ongoing viability of the company.
Blyth has over the years developed considerable expertise in accessing European funding and successfully developing and delivering EU funded projects. This experience was recognised through membership of various ESF/ERDF advisory groups, and latterly as a member of The Western Scotland Objective 2 Programme Monitoring commitee.
Blyth has achieved considerable success in widening the organisations funding base through securing contracts in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Ayrshire and Renfrewshire.

Director of Operations

Biography: John joined the company in September 2000 and took up his current post as Director of Operations in November 2003. Prior to this John ran two small businesses as a Training Consultant (5 years) and as a Newsagent (2 years). His knowledge and expertise of assisting unemployed citizens into lasting work was founded in 15 years of working in the Civil Service Training Agency and a Local Enterprise Company.
John’s key responsibilities are to ensure our Project Leaders have the resources they require to exceed our funders targets and expectations and to encourage collaboration between projects and with external partners. John also works closely with senior colleagues to develop new business ideas and secure new contracts.

Biography: Ann has worked for The Lennox Partnership since May 2002. She is one of four Project Leaders within the organisation. Ann currently manages TLP Plus, TLP Direct and the Mandatory Work Activity and is responsible for four staff. Her duties include creating and implementing project goals, supervising and providing direction to project staff, ensuring project targets and customer expectations are met or exceeded. Previously Ann was responsible for the successful delivery of the Make it Work Project, the Community Training Project and Joblink for Young People. Ann also implemented and managed the award-winning Working in Tourism & Hospitality (WITH) Project. Ann was also an active member of the Dunbartonshire Tourism Alliance before it was disbanded in 2008. Before working for The Lennox Partnership, Ann was employed by Equifax for almost 20 years during which time she developed her operational and project management skills.

Biography: Sharon Geddes joined The Lennox Partnership in August 2005, having previously worked for The Department for Work and Pensions for 22 years in a range of roles, which including Business Development Manager and Account Manager.
Sharon initially started with The Lennox Partnership as a Joblink Co-ordinator before moving onto the STRIVE project when it started in 2006. She started as a Job Support Officer on STRIVE before securing her current role as STRIVE Project Manager. Sharon’s key responsibilities include managing the STRIVE team, the design and implementation of the STRIVE project plan as well as the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the project.
Sharon is also involved in sourcing potential funding streams for The Lennox Partnership and completing bids where appropriate.

Biography: Margo has worked for The Lennox Partnership for since 2002, she was initially employed as a Joblink Co-ordinator and has worked and managed various other projects including the highly successful LOAN, Job Brokerage, Working for Families, Supported Employment, Better Neighbourhood Services Fund, Joblink, Joblink for Young People, MA Matchmaker and Post Employment Aftercare. Her current role is managing the West Dunbartonshire Working Links, Work Programme contract.
This includes ensuring the project is achieving their agreed targets, supervising and providing direction to the project staff and the monitoring and evaluation of projects. Prior to working with The Lennox Partnership, Margo worked within the training network for 14 years developing her knowledge of the various government funded programmes.
