Getting Scotland into Work in 2014-15!
Performance was steady throughout the year in our Working Links (Work Programme) contract in both West Dunbartonshire and East Dunbartonshire, with job outcomes consistently exceeding targets. In North Ayrshire we delivered 96% of the expected job starts from 93% of the expected customers this year, continuing our impressively high results. Despite supporting only half of the customers we expected to in our Adult Employability Service for Renfrewshire Council we still exceeded our target for job outcomes. Our Airport Recruitment Centre has delivered 76 jobs in and around Glasgow Airport.
We have now delivered 8 STRIVE workshops in Paisley for a range of customers including former Work Programme customers and young people, with 40% of our workshop graduates having secured work so far. 11 of the 23 customers we supported after the closure of the Clydebank Remploy factory have been placed into work.
